- Reformer beginner exercises (continuation)
- Introduction reformer intermediate exercises
- Regressions/progressions of reformer exercises
- Contraindications/Precautions for reformer
Weekend 3: First meeting with your client
- First meeting/what questions to ask
- Different postures/ (including knee and foot positions)
- Proper warm-up and cool down
Weekend 4: Program design
- Class plan for a beginner class
- Class plan for an intermediate class
Weekend 5: Pilates mat
- Introduction to the pilates Mat repertoire
- Regressions and progressions for the exercises
- Contraindications/Precautions
- How to build a beginner friendly mat class
- Incorporating props into your mat class

My name is Caroline Saraiva and I have been teaching pilates for 20 years. I discovered a passion for fitness in my early 20’s, I began training my mother to help improve her cardiovascular health and overall strength. I was able to motivate her to stay healthy and I loved seeing the results. A few years later, I certified as a personal trainer through the YMCA. A few short years, I randomly discovered the pilates method. The instant benefits were astounding, in the next few years, I became a full time pilates instructor and never looked back. I have owned studio saraiva pilates which is a home-based fully equipped studio for 12 years. I continue to help people achieve their goals.
